 The "Fill  the Gap" project is an initiative aimed at addressing homelessness by providing temporary housing solutions to working, traveling, and transitioning  adults. This campaign focuses on leveraging underutilized spaces, such as spare rooms in private homes, to offer stable, short-term accommodations. The main components of the campaign include: 

1. Matching Hosts and Guests: The project connects homeowners or renters with extra rooms to working adults who are near experiencing homelessness. The matching process often considers compatibility, location, and the needs of both parties.
2. Temporary Housing: The provided rooms serve as a temporary measure to help individuals stabilize their lives. This period allows them to save money, find more permanent housing solutions, and address other barriers to stable living.
3. Support Services: In addition to housing, participants may receive support services such as job training leads, financial counseling, and access to credit repair. This holistic approach helps ensure long-term success for the guests.
4. Community Engagement: The project encourages community involvement and awareness by inviting individuals and organizations to participate. It fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility in addressing homelessness.
5. Screening and Safety: Both hosts and guests undergo a screening process to ensure safety and compatibility. This typically includes background checks, interviews, and ongoing support from the campaign organizers.
